This site uses ASP to display content stored on an Access database with a CMS admin interface. Originally, the ASP code was developed to support two different websites with a central content repository. The ASP code controls the templates, allowing Targit to create new pages and customise pages. At the time of development, XML was not yet well supported by Microsoft and therefore the choice was made to develop in ASP Access, however we would now develop a site of this this kind of site in ASP.net XML.

Benefits: Open code which can be edited using a variety of authoring tools and well supported by ISPs.
